Recently, one of my clients asked me:
"I want to create several websites. I want to sell eBooks and also earn from Google Adsense, but I don't know where to start and what to do".
This is a common question that a lot of newbies ask when they first get into "Internet Marketing".
The only thing I tell them is... Just concentrate on one idea at a time.
When a new idea pops up, simply write it down to work on it later.
If you want to sell an ebook, simply work on creating your website and writing your ebook.
If you want to earn from Google Adsnese, then don't worry about selling ebooks for now. Just make a content rich website to earn from Adsense.
If you try to work on different ideas at the same time, you won't be able to do anything -or- won't be able to do quality work.
So, list down your ideas, determine which one seems best and simply start working on it.
Once you are done with it, only then move on to the next project.

What Should be the Length of Your Copy?
Oftentimes new writers wonder about the correct length of copy. They can’t figure out whether a particular copy should be long or short.
First thing you need to know is there is no such is thing as ‘correct length’. Your copy must be long enough to convey your message.
Secondly, when you buy something cheap and when you buy something really expensive, doesn’t your approach change with the cost of the product?
What I mean is if you buy a product that costs $10, you won’t care much about losing this amount in case the product doesn’t live up to your expectations.
But when you are ready to spend $1,000 you will think many times and you will try to gather as much information as you can before taking the money out of your pocket.
So, if you are selling an extremely expensive product, you may want to provide a lot of details as compared to a cheap product. But, then, what should be the length? Well, it should be long enough to convey the message properly and thoroughly.
Simply start writing and when you are convinced that you have written persuasively and “long / short” enough to convince your target audience; know this, the length of your copy is just perfect.

How can an Attractive Headline Increase Your Sales?
What do visitors see when they visit your website for the very first time?
Yes, your headline.
If it promises to give your visitors exactly what they are looking for, then you can bet your visitors will stay and browse your website thoroughly.
This is why it is important to first thoroughly study your target audience, understand their needs and how they can be fulfilled. Once you have this information, you may develop a product accordingly. Plus, you will know what content to write for your website to convert visitors into sales.
If your headline doesn't clearly convey the benefit(s) of your product or website, the chances are, you will end up sending your visitors to your competitors.
So, take your time and make sure your headline is attractive and can easily grab the attention of your target audience. It's not easy though, so don't rush and take your time.
Good Luck!

Make Your Web Content Compelling
What introduces your products online? Yes, your web content.
Make sure you write a compelling copy. It must thoroughly describe your product and show the benefits that buyers will receive.
A lot of people think that just making a website is enough and their products will start selling automatically. This notion is completely incorrect. You must tell your target audience in detail what product you are selling and how it will be beneficial to them.
Isn't it their right to know in detail what product they are actually buying?
So, take your time and make sure you write a detailed copy for your website.

Why Do New Online Business Owners Fail?
Starting an online business is a thousand times easier than an offline business. You can start an online business with virtually no investment at all. Now the question is... if it's so convenient, so cheap and highly profitable to start an online business then why do a lot of new online business owners fail?
The main reason behind their failure is that they don't try to find their target audience first. They just rush and start an online business without knowing if anyone would buy their products or acquire their services or not.
You must have heard that if you fail to plan then you plan to fail. This is the problem a lot of new online business owners face. Lack of planning and not knowing if there is a demand for their products or services lead them to ultimate failure.
You must carry-out an extensive and proper research before you start an online business. You must find your target audience and understand their exact requirements. After you learn the demands of your target audience, you can easily cater to their needs and create products and provide services they are already looking to buy.

How to Effectively Proofread Your Content / Copy?
Anyone who writes articles, blogs, copy, etc. understands the importance of proofreading. But the question is, "Do we really know how to proofread our own content effectively?"
The reason why we proofread is to ensure that there are no grammatical mistakes, no spelling mistakes, flow of information is smooth and we have managed to convey the message without being vague at all.
So, after you finish writing your content, simply take a break. Go and grab a cup of coffee and come back after half an hour. Open the file and read it from a fresh mind.
When you start reading, don't try to think what you have written. Read as if you don't know what message your article intends to convey. This practice might seem a bit difficult, but it's not. As you read, don't try to think what you have written in the next paragraph and keep on reading.
Always try not to publish your content immediately. If you have written a blog post, don't try to post it immediately. If you have written an email copy, don't send it immediately. Do as I have mentioned above and, if possible, just keep it for a day and go over it again the next day.
The best practice is to always have an extra pair of eyes look at your work. When a new person will read your content, he will be able to guide you whether it makes sense or not. You will also learn if a certain part will need better explanation or not.
See, when we write we know what we want to write. We have the complete theme in mind but don't always manage to put our thoughts into writing. So, when we read, we already know the theme and if we leave out some details unintentionally, we might not even notice it.
So, have someone proofread your content. If you don't have anyone, simply put it aside, go over it later with a fresh mind and see if everything makes complete sense or not.
Once your content has thoroughly been proofread and you think it makes sense, your content is simply ready to be published or sent in an email.
